I created this spoon ring from a piece of silver-plate silverware. The spoon was made by Wm Rogers silverplate and the pattern is Remembrance. This silverware was first produced in I thought the simple floral design was perfect for a ring. The surface of this piece retains the patina of vintage silverware. I cut the handle off, softened the edges, and bent the metal into the shape of a ring. I cleaned and polished the silver-plate metal to a smooth texture and shiny, but aged patina.
